                                                      Vaccinations are designed to protect your pets from common infectious diseases. Most of these diseases lead to serious consequences to your pet's health. If your pets got enough milk from their mother, they will be protected for a short period of time after birth. This natural protection gradually vanes, and at this time vaccines take care your pets against these diseases.
 
                                                      Dogs need to get their first shots at six weeks of age and thereafter every two four weeks intervals until they are twelve weeks of age. In any case, a minimum of two doses should be given. After this, repeat shots should be given every year.
 
                                                      Cats get the first shots at 8 - 10 weeks of age, and a booster 3 - 4 weeks. This should be repeated every year.
                                                    
                                                      Dogs are vaccinated against respiratory diseases including kennel cough, distemper, parvovirus, coronavirus, and rabies. Vaccinations against lyme disease, giardiasis...etc are optional.
 
                                                      Cats are vaccinated against various respiratory diseases, feline leukemia, feline immunodeficiency virus and rabies.
